Why are my trailer brakes not working?

Trailer electric brakes often fail due to wiring issues, a faulty brake controller, or corroded magnets/armatures within the drums. Check connections at the trailer plug, breakaway switch, and the controller itself. Worn brake shoes or seized adjusters can also prevent proper braking.
