Is there a coraline 2 coming out?

There are no official plans for a Coraline 2. While fans have expressed interest, Laika, the animation studio behind the original film, has not announced any development on a sequel. Neil Gaiman, the author of the book, has also stated he would only consider a sequel if he had a story "as good or better" than the first.
