How do you stick aluminum foil to windows?

Aluminum foil doesn't inherently stick to windows. To attach it, you'll need an adhesive. Options include clear tape, painter's tape (for temporary applications), or a light mist of water if the window is very clean and the foil is pressed firmly. The shiny side in or out is irrelevant for adhesion.
